Susan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who began her counselling career in 1995.  Prior to returning to the Ridge Meadows area, she worked as a School Counsellor and Sexual Abuse Therapist in First Nation communities and non-profit organizations. For the past 10 years, she’s been employed at a local community agency as a Child and Family Therapist.  She specializes in the areas of abuse & trauma, anxiety & depression, and grief & loss.  Her therapeutic approaches include Brief Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Narrative Therapy and Play and Art Therapy. Believing that counselling can be the catalyst for change, she has helped many individuals, couples and families as they face relationship problems, child behaviour problems, parenting issues, and life transitions.
